Dance Therapy for young teens involved in the “loverboys” problem in Leeuwaarden and Rotterdam, NL
During de summer of 2015 Maria Munain colaborated with Fier foundation, providing different dance therapy workshops. Fier provides assistance to children and young girls and boys who have been confronted by violence in the context of relationship.
Loverboy problem or sexual abuse where common among the girls . Several girls from ages 12 to 17 participated in the workshops. The focus was to experience the body in a safe way, foster self-confidence and practice limit setting using as tools dance, movement and music.
